The Command Prompt is a special window where the user can type in commands to execute special functions not available in the menus.
Some of these are:
VERSION
Shows the current program version.
USER
Shows information about the current user account.
LICENSE
Shows the license ID.
MEMORY
Shows the memory in bytes allocated by the simulator.
MACHINE
Shows the path of the currently loaded machine.
PING
Tests the communication with the cncsimulator.com server.
CHECKLICENSE
Makes a call to the cncsimulator.com server to get the license status.
INSTALLATION
Opens the installation folder.
CLS
Clears the Command Prompt window.
HELP
Shows available commands.
CLOSE
Closes the Command Prompt window.
When you are in contact with support, you may be asked to type in certain commands in the command prompt to help troubleshoot the problem.
