6. Codes and commands

The program has two types of commands that can be used to affect the simulation. First, there are '$-commands', which are not CNC-related, but used to instruct the simulator on various things. A $-command always starts with a $ sign followed by the command word, and we recommend writing these commands within parentheses.
The second type of commands are CNC codes that are used in CNC machines all over the world. Currently, we do not support any special brand standards, but we try to follow the ISO standard and common Fanuc codes. The CNC code interpreter is continually improving as we receive feedback and requests from our users worldwide.
