Next update will be a big one. Lots of new functionality has been added, bugs has been fixed (and probably some has been added too) along with new machines and improved program dialogs. We still have quite some work before we will release this big update but while you are waiting, let us show you some of the new stuff.
Speed has been improved (again) for blasting fast simulations in fast forward mode!
All tools, workpieces, materials and zero points are now handled from our new “Inventory Browser”.
You can now insert tools into your CNC program directly from the Inventory Browser, see the red arrow below.
The settings editor has been greatly improved too.
Did you notice the “Mill Solid buffer type” setting above?
If you put it at “3D” you can now cut parts from the side, like this:
You will also be able to handle your license and order petrol from your settings dialog.
The “Select machine” dialog has been updated with the new machines:
Laser and Plasma machines throw sparks when cutting in metal for best realism.
Some 3D printers are CNC controlled, so we have added a virtual 3D Printer too.
We hope that these changes as well as all other improvements under the hood will give our users a great experience and fun simulations!
