We and our users found some issues with the previous release that has been fixed in this one. We recommend all users that have downloaded 2.5.0.3 to upgrade as soon as possible. You can find the latest version on the download page.

If you run into any issues with this version, please let us know as soon as possible.

It turns out there where still some bugs to fix in version 2.5. Also we made a mistake with the last installation program so that the Tutorials folder never gets installed. We will release a service release as soon as possible. Stay tuned for more.

We keep on fixing bugs as well as optimizing the software with each new release. Besides that, here is a list of new features in this one:

– Added printing of both SimCam files and CNC code.

– Added customizable drawing templates for SimCam.

– Program can now read paths like %USERPROFILE% in path settings.

– Added background bitmaps to SimCam.

– Added SVG import.

– Improved DXF import.

– Added import of SimCam files.

– Added setting to disable workpiece shading.

– Added alarm if no RPM is set when cutting and crash test is activated.

– Added alternative G92 method.

– Added command to read T values as embedded tools.

– And the big one: We have added CAD functionality to SimCam!

Tons of new features has been added to SimCam making it a contemporary CAD/CAM system.

We are happy (and a little bit proud) to announce yet another cool new version of the famous CNCSimulator Pro software. This version brings good news for all of you who have asked us about Macro programming. We now support parameterized programming inspired by the Fanuc Custom Macro B language specification. We also include a special debugger window where users can step through macro code and keep an eye on how variables change during execution.

This new version also gets rid of the Z movements during radius compensation limitation. No more annoying alarms when moving in Z during G41/ G42!

A smaller change has also been made to the MRU (Most Recent Used) files list. Now they show up in proper order so that the last used file is at top of the list.

Some stability issues have also been fixed.

This version needs .NET Framework 4.0 or later to run.
