Server issues

Our server host is dealing with an issue affecting our site. We are working with them to specifically identify the issue and fix it. This issue is affecting thousands of sites world-wide. We apologize for this and will keep you updated.

Update Tuesday April 12:
The servers are running normally now and we keep monitoring them closely.

New version

We have uploaded a new version that fixes the problems some users with ATI/AMD cards had. If you are affected by these issues, uninstall your current version and update to version or later.

Important information regarding ATI/AMD Graphics cards

Notice regarding ATI/AMD Graphics cards. There is a problem with the compatibility with some of these cards making the milling machines invisible and causing other graphic issues. We are working on a solution to this and will hopefully have a new download ready soon. If you are affected by this issue, please contact support and we will let you know as soon as we have a fix ready.

Expiring versions

Important notice to users of the free version.
Version of the simulator will expire on Monday, November 23, 2015.
All versions prior to will expire on Monday, November 16, 2015.

Download and upgrade your version today to avoid interruptions.

Platinum Edition users can continue to run old versions but we encourage everyone to update to the latest one.

New server

We are now a week into using our new server, and no more issues have been reported. The new server runs perfectly and has faster response time. Thanks everyone that has reported on this, for helping us making the site and the software better!

Server issues and migration

Monday Oct 19: We have issues with our license server provider right now and are doing everything we can to get it back in normal service as soon as possible. New users will have to re-register the software as a consequence. We apologize for this and ask for your patience while we are solving the problem. If you have questions, please email support and we will answer as soon as possible.

Update Tuesday Oct 20: The server issues are mainly fixed by now. We have migrated the license server to another hosting provider and are waiting for the DNS propagation to be ready. At the moment, in most part of the world, users are connecting to the new server, while in some countries, they are still connected to the old server. We expect everything to be back to normal within 24 hours but will keep you updated if new issues occur. Thank you for your patience while we are working on this.

We will be at a conference from 26:th of June to the 5:th of July. This will mean that we will be low on staff, please be patient if support tickets take a bit longer than usual to be attended to.

Reminder emails

As the popularity of the CNCSimulator Pro software has grown so much the amount of license reminder emails we have to send each day has become a burden to our servers. We have therefore decided to stop sending these emails. Users of the free version will from today have to login to their account to manually order the petrol mail in order to reactivate their licenses. Make sure you have your password stored.

New tutorial

A customer made us aware of the fact that the radius compensation function (G40-G42) in CNCSimulator Pro was not very well documented. We agree and have now made a tutorial to explain it in much more detail with examples and illustrations. We hope that it will help our users to better understand how radius compensation in CNCSimulator Pro works.

Here is a link to the tutorial. Radius compensation for milling machines.
